My Two Cents Worth

This is my first book by Tijan.

Mafia trope. Opposites attract.

It did take me a bit to warm up to the characters. But I did end up enjoying the story and the characters. 

Trace and Jess were so different but that is how love grows.

Trace and up and coming mafia boss. For me Jess was trying to make up for the wrong her family had committed. She was a parole officer.

When a chance encounter sparks fly.

It’s a good read 3.5-4 for me.

I do want to see how the story evolves since Tijan left me a little surprised and heart broken. 

I did like that each character gave you a sense that you did not have the whole story. They gave you enough to want to find more.
