Hate me and tell me I’m wrong.
Refuse to see how my darkness is what she needs.
While I don’t particularly care about your feelings in the matter, and while I pursue her despite the wedding bells that rang for another, only I can see how she is drowning beneath mediocrity.
How many times must I remind her?
It can’t matter that I am the person who ruined her life.
The man who killed her father.
The constant shadow that watches her sleep.
The lover who prefers dirty alleyways to freshly laundered sheets
She’s mine. Always has been.
I'm the worst thing for her, yet I’m the only salvation she knows.
He had his chance to make her happy.
He didn't see how she was dying inside because he couldn't know her.
Not like I know her.
I am her stalker.
And the only man that can bring her back to life.

Here's what I thought:
Remember, he is not a hero.
The Danger you Know by Lily White.
I love this authors writing, her words flow wonderfully. I usually find myself visualizing and feeling every moment as if I were there.
Ari and Adeline's story start like any other, for them that is. A sinner with a heart and damsel in distress.
Ari and Adeline worked very well together. Their story unlike any other, torment, lust, passion and love.
Remember, when I said he wasn't a hero. Well someone should have reminded me whilst I read this book.
I loved Ari. He was very twisted but very well rounded which made him all the more amazing.
Their story spans several years, so we see these characters grow and evolve.
It is a dark read, proceed with caution.
Overall great read, like always.
I also want to point out, that Master Aiden graced me with his presence.
